G'day,
I've been "playing" GT5 a fair bit and really digging it. Thought I would search on-line for some assistance with some car setups, and holy crap information overload. I am amazed with the level of commitment of you blokes it borders on extreme, like I said I'm playing (too much I'm Sure) and most are "living" it's like there real money to be made.

So at the moment I've been tuning an RX7 as a drift car, and having a bit of trouble advancing to the next step, any advice would be appreciated.

Also what happens if or when they release a new version of GT do you guys have to start all over again? or will your car setups and gear transfer?

No, all your cars setups stay in the one game. In GT4 you could take you license tests and money, but that was it.
And here is a tune for an RX-7 Drift: Link, you could always take that and tweak it to fit your specific model.

And welcome to :gtpflag:!

Not having any clue what you've done so far, I couldn't begin to give tips on changes to make. My best advice would be to head over to the GTP Drift Tune Depot and see what others have done in order to get an idea how to fix or improve on your tune. Just be sure not to make too many changes at one time (in the case of improving on your own tune so far), because it's hard to determine what worked and what didn't, or where you went too far or not far enough on any one setting. And welcome to GTP.

Thanks for the info, where would be the best place to ask for my setting to be reviewed? within the depot post?

I'd say in the tuning forum, post the settings and hopefully someone will try it out and give you feedback. Welcome to gtp mate.

I really think it's more how you feel about it, since everyone drives differently and tunes take advantage of individual driving styles. But sure, you can always post it (in the GT5 Drifting Forum) and see what people think.
