wow, puts transformers to shame..

just goes to show whats possible.

29 stones is about 184 kgs, if I'm correct. I wonder how he did it and how long it took him to lose 29 stones?

The strenuous program he undertook was initially scheduled to take him two years to complete.

Good on him. The story just goes to show what is possible when you put your mind and overweight body to it. If only every fat person could do this: Not only would surgeons and fitness instructors be more flat-out than ever, but the world would be a healthier, happier, more-attractive and less dense place.

How can get someone that heavy? Is it medical problem or do they just eat excessively?

Amazing transformation although the pictures do not look like the same person.

I wonder if he goes around singing "Creep" by STP...

wow if he can do it, ANYONE can do it.

just goes to show where a little determination can get ya

I hope he's kept that skin somewhere...

It's sold by the doctors and hospital who perform the operation. They sell it to other hospitals who need it for burn victims. Also, there are pharmaceutical companies that purchase human skin for drug research. For example: Medications that are designed to be absorbed through human skin.

I remember this story from a few years ago on 20/20. Looks like it was a success. Good for him. 👍

That makes alot more sense than seeing if Paris Hilton would buy a handbag made from it, though I bet she would have paid more.

Yeah, I think this guy has his own stickied thread over on bodybuilding.com. My aunt is going through something similar. She was 290 and lost 30 pounds in 1.5 months already. She is real short though so I can only imagine the skin when she finishes. Good thing she is cousins with a plastic surgeon.
