For the last ****ing time, The Escudo can only reach 1,881 bhp. Maybe only in the "Mystical land of the Gameshark", can it reach anywhere past that point. Neon duke, it was a good thing that you locked that thread. Good shot, Mr. Duke. But on a serious note, if anyone who read the long thread of the Escudo bhp, I have to fill you in now. If somehow, anyone of you did get over 1,881 bhp, you got duped or you got the greatest glitch known to gaming history. (Yeah, even better than the ones in any Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario, or ALL of the Contra games known to human existance) But nonetheless, I need to explain something now. Like I said before, the chance of anyone getting over 1,881 bhp would mean that however you fumble or tobble (yes, that's a word) with it, regardless of how dumb or ass-backwards the tuning may be, The Escudo would be running 8.974 on the Seattle course alone. I'll leave it to you to assume what it could do on the Test course. (Here, let me give you a visual. The car would be leaving Comtrails on the ground. and the spoiler would incinerate within seconds. And on top of that, as soon as it would reach 395mph, it would take off the ground. Mercades CLK-GTR, anyone?) And furthermore, now think about this, The Escudo would accelerate past 425 mph and continue to accelerate and at that point, it couldn't turn at all regardless of how low you drop the front end and raised the back end. And it would've been assumed that the escudo's top speed would've been 459 mph. (pssh, right!) Also, braking would be the worst and last thing you'd better be thinking about. Famine, what you said about anything past 1,881 bhp is "Morally Impossible." I agree. Whatever you people think, choke on your thoughts. No offense. If there are any questions you may have, don't be afraid to ask me. I know people who literally sleep in garages and think of sick stuff all of the time. And they leak info to me. Go figure.

"Draft me and I'll make you pay...Severely...."

That is true.
However, if you use the "proper" settings for the car, you can achieve stoopid fast top speed. Of course, control is right out the window.

no matter what i dont like the escudo for anything more than wheelies it handles like s**t

The Escudo in my eyes is a waste of car space. We coulda had another JGTC cars like the Diablo or another LeMans car.

The biggest thing that is a waste about the Escudo is the amount of time people spend blathering on about it. Why is everybody so obsessed with it?

Unfortunately the car will still be in GT 4 :( :( :(.
So blathering will keep on for a few years.

How about we put a sticky thread about all escudo related threads will be closed. That could stop teh bathering problem.

The Escudo is only good for getting a lot of money with the rubber band trick in the Super Speedway Enderance race. It's kind of funny how Suzuki's only two cars have the smallest amount of horsepower as well as the largest amount. The Alto Works has 61 bhp, while the Escudo can have 1881!

Try some "decent" settings at Stock HP and you will begin to see the usefulness of the much maligned Escudo.
Just like any idiot can do a burnout in a pick-up, Any fool can run fast at the Test Course in an Escudo tuned to the max.
Detune, and try the car again. Trust me. You might actually like it, except for that whole "trying to see over that HUGE-GANTIC wing" thing.

Easy practical solution to seeing over the wing there Gil...

 Don't drive your car from where the Pope drives his

BTW: I'm pretty sure I saw a lady driving her car from that perspective on the way to work this morning. Dang near killed four of us.

It's every newbs favorite car, and every good drivers least favorite. Any one posting on the subject of how great the escude is should be branded as a newb until they see the incerdible problems with this car, the king of understeer.

Really? I think anyone who posts on a subject about handling problems without having the ability to cure the handling problems in the settings menu should be branded as a "newb".

I have no problem with the Escudo at all. My settings for it can be found elsewhere in this very forum. And I ran the Rome 2hr Endurance race in it.

Yea stop busting on the escudo. If it wasn't for it i bet half of you wouldn't have beaten the game (running the SS enduro and getting the F090/s) I mean can't you people see if you drive stedily and with the right settings (see Famine's) this is a really good car.

If you cast your eyes down to the speedo towards the end of a straight and look at how fast you are actually travelling in the escudo, you might get an explanation for the "understeer" you're experiencing.

I hate the car and I do not use it. I beat the SS enderance for money many a time in many diffrent cars. I did not use the Esceudo or an F1 car on it.

I too have never used an Escudo in pursuit of 100.0%. But I have driven them since and took a great deal of time to make it track-worthy.

Spada... Good call :D

hey shining if you are tired of people's talking about the escudo, why you make another thread about it.

i got my escudo and use allmost any time i play GT3,but never use it to win any races (just with my friends).

i know the car have more hp than the entire kentucky derby, but if you use it just for fun and not for beat the game i don't see nothing wrong on it.

i don't trying to start any kind of arge with you or any one, just wanna see what you (and other members) think about it.

With Famine's settings (and i thank you, Famine) and in the right capable hands, the Escudo is a decently balanced car. But until then, all its use will be devoted to 'rubber-band tricks' and wheelie fun. Let's hope Polyphony tames it down a little, or take it out altogether.

Well, I'm not a fan of the Escudo (almost at all.) The only thing that I actually took the time and patience to waste my time to tune and it came out to any remote use was the Tommy Kaira ZZ-2, NSX type S, NSX Type S-Zero, the Escudo, (only for laughs, but it still tops out at 189 mph. Oh well. **** that thing.) Subaru WRX prototype, Castrol Tom's Supra, That Jaguar Road Car, (Don't ask.) And about a dozen others. But oh well. Anyway, I only put up this damned thread was because so many people asked me about that useless vehicle. I was sick and tired of hearing about that @#$%#$@#$#$%$%***. Sorry. 7 straight months about hearing and holding pathetic conversations with an underrated vehicle that I'd love to take my NSX and drive circles and organized squares around it. Why? Anyway, I'll let this thread run a little bit more before I go to ECC9, then I wish for one thing from all of you: Please no more mentioning the Escudo to me. If you must talk to me about it, refer to it as "That Vehicle that shalt not be named." Thank you. Oh and one more question: How the hell do you get the Raybrig NSX? I keep getting Ford GT and now I have 5 sickening colors and my eyes hurt from looking at it. Please, some help here. :banghead:

Drafting causes more deaths than any if not all of the stupid and aggressive drivers in the world.

You get the Raybrig NSX by winning the Amateur Gran Turismo All-Stars. Besides, I love this car. Its blue coloring, excellent speed, above average handling, and great acceleration makes it the best of the 3 NSX race cars :trouble:
