I've got this nitpick with Photoshop lately, and i don't know why it's happening. Everytime i choose the "eyedrop" and click on an image to get a color sampling, it automatically sends that color to the background color on the twin colored selector thingie (I've included a picture of the actual thing, i'm at a loss for words regarding how it's called.) If i want to use the said color, i have to switch manually between the colors, instead of having the program doing it by itself.

Any ideas on how to make the eyedrop put the selected color on the foreground instead of the background?

Just double-click the square you want to color match, click custom, then click picker. I think this is what you want, if it isn't then I can't help you.

Or make sure you are on the correct layer on the layer selecting bar. Sometimes, without thinking about it, I'll do the same thing. I just check to make sure I'm on the right layer, then it works. :D
