Ok, look, i am in the professioanl league and i am at the vitz race, i beat the series race and beat the other vitz on every stage, except that route 11 thing, and i cant think why i cant beat them there, I tried everything, tuning up the car, changing settings, but nothing works! did you qualify for the race?

i mean like did you do the qualify run so that you can beat their time and be in pole position?
 
i did the same exact thing. i got to ssr 11 and couldnt stay ahead of them. i think what i did is went and got the racing suspension. before that i didnt have it. you really need the suspension to reduce understeer and allow you to put all of that power to the ground. after i got the suspension i had little trouble beating them.
 
it pains me so to see another gamer in the Vitz's grip of evil. you haven't been here long, but you'll notice i hate all Vitz AI. they are cheating, conniving, bloodthirsty scoundrels. what i do is lower myself to their level of scum "driving:" smash them into walls, push their front ends out from under them, and draft behind them or let them ush you on the straight; but that's just me.
tune, qualify, perfect; that's all it takes.
 
even in the qualifying round, i can't beat their time, i need the settings! if it's not to much trouble, can someone list their settings from what they did if they are ahead of me? thx!!!!!!
 
did you buy all parts for the car? I will go check my settings soon. But i think the suspension really helped me. i lowered it and made it stiff and then i could beat the ai.
 
I got all the mods and ran the race on T2s. I couldnt quite keep up, but when their tires went off and they pitted I sailed past.
 
I beat it with medium soft tires, lowered it to the ground all the way and made the suspension stiff as possible. Left everything else alone but I think I may have changed the gear ratios a little, but maybe not. I just pitted the same time they did and won. Not by that much though.
 
thats a good idea. its in the turns that you have to stay away from the ai. they get past you by ramming you around there. on th straight its rather easy to stay ahead of people, even if your gong slower than them. just block them!
 
Tune it for a medium-high speed because of the long straight on SS11, and have tarmac suspension settings!
 
Hey man, what i did, and i think its the simplest thing to do, when you come to the corners, just brake, and let the car roll round them, don't accelerate until your coming way out of the corners. I dunno why, but that gave me the advantage.

The Vitz gets a huge amount of understeer on the throttle, so either roll around the corners or give it a small amount of throttle mid corner to help keep some speed up.
 
Make sure you bought and installed everything. When I was doing vits pro I didn't install the big package that gave me hp, I only bought it. I was running at a 100hp loss. Fanilly after about 1 week of trying to win I realized me mistake, installed it and I won each race first time.
 
Supra, that ain't the simplest thing to do.... what you do is just ram em into the corners...... like ram the #1 into the corner, then let the #3 car ram you forward to gain speed....... cuz i mean they're all going to be traveling the same line....

that way, you can slow 2 cars down but still have the exact same speed! ^_^
 
Just try and barge em, and make sure you just don't accelerate through the corners.
 
Ride the walls of the two u-turns just before the middle stretch and you can fly by them sometimes. Other than that I agree with everything else....
