Haha, that's awsome. I've done it on my bike, but never that much. Since I'm on mountain bikes, the tires are like 195's...in the pics they are on like 165s or less. Small tires = less grip, so they can drift like that.
They're riding piece of crap bikes though.
I can only get that far sideways with the rear locked up, but I don't like to do that because it just kills the tire. I assume that that's all they are doing, just sliding with the back locked up. If they let off the back brake, they'd "tank slap" the bike and go flying off. Maybe thier tires are bald, I'd imagine you could drift on a bald tire pretty well, but not for long.
I can also get the back end sliding out by slamming on the front brake, and transfering the weight off the back tire, then swiveling the back of the bike.
I'll wait for snow. It's fun as hell riding a bike on snow and ice, especially when the snow is compressed by cars and stuff. It's fun until you get hypothermia...
