Those Damn Water Marks

My car has extremly nasty water marks all over on the right side..... The visibility on that side of the windshield is diminishing...... Damn those sprinklers!!! :ouch: Damn them!! So~~
How would I get rid of those marks? And is there anything that makes my windshield water stain proof? I thought of asking those clerks at the auto stores but I'm afraid that they might make me buy something expensive (happened once).....
 
Like, the windshield is stained on the out side and doesn't wash off with water??? Well, anywho, I would suggest look at something from Mcguires (spelling is probably way off). They seem to have a really good line of detailing products.

Well wash your car with Mr. Clean Auto Dry car wash, no spots and I have a black truck. Also buy some teflon type of wax and put a couple good coats on, you shouldn't have a big problem. Also Rain X your windows.
 
Water spots are caused by mineral deposits in your paint/clear coat. Using a clay bar on your car is the sure fire way to get them out if washing it hasn't already. A mild abrasive polish might also work. Either way, probably looking at a good wash, then a clay and/or mild polish, then sealant or wax to protect the finish.

yeah i was gonna say rain x for the windows and windsheild. I put that on my car and the water trickles off onto the body and leaves the water marks there..... :ouch:
