Due to gas prices I've sold my Foxbody stang and need a replacement with a little bit of pep so I can have some pleasure driving to work and I was just curious on the thoughts of this particular car. I need a good 4 banger that can run on 87 octane. The only things I can seem to think off the top of my head is a 99 Civic Si, Celica Gt-s but its more of a girls car imo, ITR's I dont have a big selection of in my area that come with low miles, 01 preludes I dont think theres alotta aftermarket for I may be wrong even though the H22A2 engine is appealing in stock form, I'm very unsure on a 02 sentra se-R dunno alot about them either, and the Rsx type S is a little out of my price range and thats the only model I will get of that car. I'm trying to avoid a car with forced induction for I already have one and when boost leaks occur they are a b!@*&#! not to mention I would only run those on 93 octane out of courtesy and respect for the car. Sorry to ramble but please give me some other ideas.

Get the celica and fit some deepdish rims. Or not but fit some nice rims and maybe lower it a bit black out the windows and your good to go.

Better yet get yourself a black golf gti and slap on some gully rims and black out da windows. Golfs are the ultimate gangsta hatchbacks. (not the latest MK though)

There's an edit button, you know. Use it.

As far as the 3rd generation Integra is concerned, my girlfriend has a GS-R, I've got a Type-R, and had another Type-R a few years ago. Nothing bad to say about them, they're insanely great cars. The rear seat is pretty much useless, mind you, but it's like that with most other hatchbacks that look like coupes. The GS-R is the top range model when it comes to equipment, second to the Type-R only when it comes to performance, and as you know, the aftermarket is insanely huge for them, both when it comes to performance parts and ricer crap. If they're well maintained they'll go forever, but the lower mileage ones are still relatively pricey.

Best tip I could give you would be to go and drive a bunch of those cars you mention, see what you like and don't like about them, narrow your picks to one or two, and then ask for advices again.

I've thought about the focus already just forgot to mention it. It is a nice car performance wise but I'm not really into the cars that are shaped like a minivan except for maybe an Vw r32 which are way outta my price range or a civic type R hatchback which I just cant find in florida. Lack of tools and a garage prevent engine swaps. I forgot to mention the 240sx but any of those around here are really high in mileage. The miata looks to be a blast to drive but the only ones around here are verts and the s2000 is the only vert I could ever see myself in. The Subie 2.5 is a great car also nothing compares to the beauty of AWD but I beleive those are turbo which lead on to 93 octane/boost leaks over time and my lead foot just so I could hear the bov so those are out of the question. The 92 sentra is a little old and finding one of those with low miles could be an issue and the looks arent the greatest which is a big concern with me. The jetta is ok I guess but I'm not a being vw fan unless I see the older bugs start liftin the wheels off the ground only runnin low 13's to high 12's. I'm not big on bodykits and all that crap I prefer to keep it simple when it comes to visual which consist of an aftermarket hood if needed some stock hoods I would never change, A nice set of rims if those are needed some cars don't need those either, and last possibly a spoiler depending on the car most i prefer without other than that everything goes to performance only. I think I rambled again but I appreciate the replies and other car choices listed please keep them coming. Yes I'm picky but I'm not one to waste thousands on a car I don't like. I would have kept the foxbody but I could seldomly drive it the way I wanted too without burning tank after tank of gas. Vortech+302+93octane+5speed+4.10 gears lead to an empty wallet and bank account in about 6 hours of my driving. Oh car interior I could careless about when it comes to being comfortable just as long as the seats aren't ripped and torn.

I'll have to check into that a little bit more I'm not to familiar with a Subie 2.5Rs.
My buddy has a 2.5RS 4-door, I think it's like '00. Great car, plenty of power, but no turbo. I think his springs are H&R, handles and rides great. 👍
