Thoughts on PS4 private lobbies?

Curious how the experience is going for those *cough* suckers like myself who bought into private servers for PS4. Mostly out of sheer curiosity.

I used g-portal and it works, but changing certain settings will cause issues. I’ve had to have my server reinstalled twice by support. Luckily they were very responsive , and I seem to have figured out which setting NOT to change.

My only issue now is a pretty high server ping. I rented a “US-Mid” server and the ping is up next to the EU ones, and I’m US West.

Anyone tried the other company Nitrado?

it will probably be only league's using these servers seeing G-Portal hiked the prices from £7 for a 20 slot server for 30 days to £19

Looking at Nitrado's cost calculator it looks like a 20 slot server is:

3 days: £3.31
Month: £13.66
3 months: £37.02
Year: £136.60

i saw that but heard their servers were having problems, does anyone have Nitrado server with some feedback on it.

edit: nitrado shows £14.48 for 20 slots for me, still cheaper than G-portal tho.
