Thread deleted with no notice

Hey,

for lack of a better way to get this info, I'd like to know the reasons why my Gran Turismo 2 Combined Disc thread was deleted. My showcase of this mod, and the download links, did not violate any rules that I am aware of (most notably, "no piracy" rule has not been violated) and without any feedback I am unable to correct the topic so it's not deleted again.

The mod showcased has been received positively both on and outside of GTPlanet so I am not sure why would a dedicated topic be disallowed.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just checked the thread and it appears you were providing a link to download a copy of Gran Turismo 2?

We can't allow that.
 
That is wrong. I am well aware of the piracy rules and I explicitly state I don't condone piracy - the provided link takes to a setup script allowing the user to combine Arcade and Simulation discs. They are supposed to already have those or else they cannot do anything.
