i have a question.. why my throttle bar became red for a while when i change gear example from 3 to 4th.. and for the fast drivers this doesnt happen (i saw videos on youtube) .. i suppose that i lose a bit of time and power... or not?

i use all aid off and abs 1... i notice this in eiger second turn round 5-2 where seems that i lose a bit of traction... someone knows why? thanx :)

When it goes red that normally means throttle is being cut like TCS.

Which event are you doing.

no... the TCS and all aids are off... only Abs 1... the throttle became red for an instant when i change gear and it happens in every event... this at the other drivers do not happens

That is normal.

It depends on the car.
People who record in 480i with their phones or PC may not record it because they would only record at 25fps.

You can see on my video that you get the get on the throttle when you shift just after starting, but you do not see it later.

Also keep in mind some cars like the C8 have very fast shifts so you may not even see a red throttle.

Also consider that clutch and flywheel upgrades reduce gear shifting time.

Also in previous updates clutch users were able to get their cars in a limbo state where gear changes absolutely never stuttered acceleration (bar never went red); as far as i know this has been patched.

There are two reasons why the acceleration bar will go red. The first reason being that the acceleration is being cut by TCS, which you are not using. The second reason is that the acceleration is being cut to allow the car to shift. This is perfectly normal.

i use a g-25 and a DFGT and the other pilot like in this video use G-25 like me,
watch, when he chages gear the bar is always white for me at every changing became red

You do know that it shouldn't make much of a difference anyway since I noticed that the delays between shifts is roughly the same time that it takes for me to shift on my DFGT. It appears to remain white but don't worry. It's not cheating and it doesn't make them faster in any way. It doesn't even affect the speed.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, the replay does not accurately show this effect of the throttle going red during a shift. has been like that since the GT5 time trial thing 2 years ago. That is why it looks like the throttle is different for other drivers. On the replay, if you watch the speed changing, you will see it pause during an upshift even though the throttle doesn't go red. This is most noticeable in a 1 to 2 shift where the rpm's have to change the most.

My point exactly. So there's nothing to worry about.

Sometimes there is a slight lag in my brakes. when I slam them on in 6-5 fist turn there is a delay when my indiacator turns red. I use DFGT wheel.
