Thrustmaster Ferrari GT pedals don't work anymore

So I've a Thrustmaster Ferrari GT for like a year. And I decided to download DiRT 3 on my PC and connect my steering wheel to my computer. It worked fine, until the mounting part broke. The part where you attach the steering wheel to the table with a pin which you rotate until it's stuck.

I fixed that, with a metal plate so now I can rotate the pin in the plate. But the problem now is that my pedals don't work anymore.

Here is a picture of the cable part which of the pedal which are connected to the chip thing:

This cable is connected to the pedals and goes in where the arrow points at:

I don't know how to solve this. Maybe dust got in the connectors or something. I really don't know. Maybe I pulled at some moment at on of the cables where I draw the red line around.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance! :)

(Sorry for my bad grammar sometimes, I'm from Holland so... :sly:)

from the photos above i'm guessing you've taking it apart to fix something and not just for the purpose of the photo. when i open mine up a few years ago i found the wire to the pc/ps3 switch was very tight and i didn't bother to remove it like every thing else. as you can probably guess i ended up pulling it out by accident and that was the end of the wheel :/. check that that's all working ok and maybe try using it ou with a ps3 and see if the pedals work on there.

oh and congratulations on getting that thing open, took me a good few days lol
