I have just watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNVxvT_wLXI&feature=youtube_gdata_player and I was wondering if (during the PC setup):

1. If that's the best setting on the f1 wheel
2. What's the best setting (in general) for the GT wheel
- what's the original setting for the GT wheel
3. Will I need to change the settings when I want to switch between the wheels (I'm playing on the PS3)

The best ones are the ones you can play with. However, you don't have to change anything on your PS3 if you're changing the rim - it'll change the steering lock automatically if you're connecting the F1 rim and calibrate the wheel afterwards. F1 2011 is setting it to something like 240° or so, I think. But the other one back on and fire up GT5, voila it's back to 1080°. :)

Thank you. I am a Senna fan as well.

I have done the changes on the PC for the F1 wheel. I will change the wheels and see. My th8 shift gear is arriving today so I will put the gt back on.

I got so used driving f1 2011 w the 900° that it is being difficult to get used to the f1 wheel. I got it last night so I haven't practiced much....

Just run a 100% race and that should pretty much do the trick, it did for me. Budapest was the track I chose, since it has all the funny things. Slow and fast corners, chicanes and of course a corner you can't properly take a look at before turning in. ;)

However, it's really, really, REALLY fun once you got used to it. Don't want to give that thing away, ever.

Do you use/place the screw back on it once you change wheels? Is it really necessary since it seems such a nice fit. I just don't want to lose the threads since it is plastic. They sooo should have done a quick release. I will want the CSW when it comes out solely for the SLI...

I feel like a need a glove bc the rubber on the wheel is bad.... I hope my hands will last a full race.

Indeed, the screw is a bit odd but I'm using it. Don't know if it's really necessary, tho. And yeah, the rubber is pretty "realistic", so I'm after gloves, too. Just can't find the ones I want, out of stock everywhere.

I saw on the video that I need to click the wet button every time to be recognized as a f1 wheel. Is that for the PC only or for the PS3 as well? Thanks.

What camera do you use? I started using the "helmet" view but it isn't realistic enough. I think that the "hands on the wheel" view takes too much real state of the screen and the cockpit graphics is not awesome. On the other "clean/road" view I think that the camera is positioned WAY too low on the asphalt.

What view is the more realistic and the one you use?

I like the "helmet cam" but it's too narrow for my taste, so I'm using the TV cam (so on the t-pod, right above the driver).
