First let me say that I'm new to flight sim and I want to purchase a flight stick for Il-2 Sturmovic on the PS3, and I will probobly only use it for that system. With that being said my main question is where is the fith axis on the HOTAS X, versus the four axis found on the T Flight X? Also is there a thumbstick on the grip, or is it more like a d-pad? If its a thumbstick I'm hoping it could be set up to control the camera view.
To me it appears that the HOTAS X is much the same as the T Flight X, but with a seperate throttle. Is that safe to assume? Because If thats the case I will just buy the T Flightstick X, save a few bucks, and hopefully be satisfied.
