Has anyone had their T-GT wheel stop responding while sitting idle for a few minutes between races while playing GT Sport? Normally it happens if I register for one of the daily sport mode races and then just wait for the event time. If more that 2-3 minutes go by between registering for the event and the start of the race the wheel stops responding. No response from any of the buttons, even the PS button does not respond. I have to get up, unplug the usb cable from the PS4 wait a few seconds then plug it back it. The wheel then does it's self calibration thing, I then press the PS button and all is well again.

Gets a bit annoying after a while. Anyone else this happens too? Any fixes or settings to prevent this?

No and you should not have to unplug the USB constantly like that.
I suspect it's the power supply as this happened to my CSR elite a few years back.
Check all power supply connections including USB, wheelbase, torpedo and wall outlet prongs are clean and tight.

Is it getting hot while it's on?

If all appears ok I would immediately contact thrustmaster support and start the process.

Nothing is getting hot and connections seem good. I have tried to remedy the situation by disabling my other handheld controller and set the "time out" function in settings to 60 minutes before the Playstation disconnects a controller for non-use. It was previously set to "always on". Anyways, it's behaved so far this weekend.

If it returns, I'll contact thrustmaster support.

Thanks for the response Corsa.
