In the last console generation, I was a Fanatec guy. I had (have) a Fanatec 911 GT3 V2 and the Clubsport V1 pedals. Now that GT Sport is out, I find myself needing to update. I’ve identified 4 viable options that I could do. Cheapest, I could get a Cronusmax and continue using my Fanatec GT3 for $60. I could get a G29 or a T300RS GT Edition for $300. Or I could spend $500 and get a Fanatec CSL Elite.
I don't really think I want to spend $60 just to keep my wheel 911 wheel in service. And between the G29 and and T300 most reviews seem to favor the T300. I would, however, need to get a $50 adapter to keep using my Clubsport Pedals with them. Also the CSL has the benefit of being compatible with my Clubsport pedals and h-pattern shifter, at least once I spend $10 on new cables for them.
TLDR; Basically what I want to know is: how much better is the Fanatec CSL Elite than the T300RS? The effective price difference if I factor in shipping and the adapter to use my Clubsport pedals is about $180, or else about 230 if I run with the T3PA pedals on the T300. Is it worth it? Or is there another option I'm not thinking of?
