I know there is already a thread on the TM, but Thrustmaster are pretty pathetic with information on when the release for each country will be and I'm tired of going to Futureshop and asking people for a "thrustmaster" when they have never even heard of the brand. If people who have actually bought a wheel could please post what country and the store or location you bought it, I think that would be greatly appreciated by many.

Not all Fry's have them yet anyways. I think RC45's might be a little more on the ball than most.

A buddy called me and said he went to see the "T500 on display at Fry's" but that "some jacka55 had bought it" :P

This one might have supposed to have been part of the promotional GT5 display and not to have been sold yet :lol:

I'd love for one to be on display... I could spend some time on it and avoid the "Fry's checkout" which would be nice... because I know I'd want to keep it, and that's a little too much scratch for me to want to drop on a wheel this early in it's life cycle.
 
I think it's safe to say that Thrustmaster might have a bit of a hard time keeping up with the demand for a bit as well, just like Fanatec and Logitech are going through right now as well.
 
For all the Dutch, French and German people whom live close the Belgian border, SimWare is probably going to demontrate the T500RS during their VIP days in februari. Belgians are welcome as well. :P

I can actually feel my credit card balance due increasing after looking at all the cool toys at the site...

It's also a physical store, not only a webstore.
 
I was just at frys looking for a gaming PC for iRacing and they had the Thrustmaster. Amazing I called and they knew nothing about it and thier website had nothing on it either. I thought about getting it but I just got into iRacing so my GT2 is better at this point. Another guy was looking and he was talking to te salesman about the Fanatec and I think I may have accidentally sold him on the Fanatec over the Thrustmaster. So maybe Thomas will read this and pay me back by responded to my email. Lol


Always amazed at the lack of knowledge of their inventory. When I was young and I worked retail I knew EVERYTHING we carried and exactly where it was in the store. Even new items.

Nope not yet. Ordered it on the 7th and still on backorder. I just hope it fits the Playseat WRC I ordered (it's on backorder too!) works without a bunch of modding required.

i know where they are not available at!!! http://www.thrustmaster.com/distributors.aspx every site in the USA that's listed other than fry's and even at fry's everywhere it's on back order!!! amazon, newegg, tigerdirect doesn't even list the wheel :( what's going on!?

It's still pretty new, don't get too worked up. There will be one for you! Heck, I walked by 2 sitting on the shelf last night at my local Fry's.

Sound like you have an opportunity to make a little extra swag on eBay then ;)

I bet you could pull in $750 for each one with a "Buy it Now!" option.

$300 isnt bad for an evenings work ;)

Yeah i'm not getting worked up over it just kinda frustrated among many others...i mean it's supposed to be released on the 5th on amazon etc. according to thrustmaster and they haven't even given us a explanation as to why it's nowhere to be found...except fry's which us on the eastcoast aren't so lucky to have. Plus i got a amazon card so it wouldn't be any money out of my pocket initially!

Yeah that would be a nice little swag! Like they say, "you gotta spend money to make money!"

As good of an idea as that is, I just don't feel good being the one to do it. I always hope that the person who buys an item like that buys it to enjoy it, not just to profit off of the desperation of his fellow hobbyists. That said, I do like money..! 💡
