Well, the most expensive wheel I've ever purchased just failed on me today and 13 months of VERY gentle use (I haven't had time to use it much, has maybe 5% the total playing time on it as my Logitech G25). Interestingly, my Fanatec wheel also died on me sooner than it should have, which is why I moved to this one instead of another Fanatec.

So it's back to the Logitech G25 for me for now, which still works perfectly after many years of faithful service.

I'll report back here with a report of the treatment I receive from Thrustmaster. I've heard bad things, but am keeping my fingers crossed that they will be able to get this fixed promptly.

So far Thrustmaster support has been surprisingly responsive to emails. We've gone through checking the internal connection after removing the wheel housing, and a number of software troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately (as I pretty much already knew), none of these has resolved the issue. The wheel simply worked perfectly 1 second and then completely stopped working the next moment. The mode button and light still work, and I was able to put the wheel into "boot mode" as they call it and flash the firmware no problem. Computers seem to talk to the wheel just fine, but the wheel does not respond in any way, either in terms of FFB or any of the other buttons. (Good news is that my G25 is up and working perfectly despite many years of abuse).
