Hi,
Does anyone have the F1 rim and uses it with PS3 ? Do you know if one of the buttons can be used to mute/unmute a headset ?
I saw it working with iRacing on PC over at a friends house.
I just started to do online racing with PS3 and muting/unmuting my headset with the button on the headset cable is just to distracting.
I only got a DFP right now, so if someone has a solution for that too that would be equally appreciated.

I don't think you can do PTT on PS3 games unless the specific game allows PTT and buttons can be assigned. That would be no for GT5, others I couldn't tell you specifically but probably no again.
 
Very, very few games support PTT.

The only two I've seen are Warhawk and RFOM.

IIRC, SOCOM Confrontation had it along with proximity chat.
 
I so wish they would bring back PTT. It gets so annoying hearing whats going on at other peoples houses. Or they want to yell at there kids and scream in my ear. The beat part is when they have the volume so high it takes over voice chat. Better yet let me get some chips and eat in your ear. I could go on but you get the point. I dont know why they took PTT out but it needs to come back.
