Hey guys. Am new to forums so bear with me. I just brought a sim setup with the t500rs wheel pedals seat etc (second hand) and use it to play F1 2014. (I don't have a ps4) first few times using it were fine no problems but last few races I found myself to be so much slower then everyone. I switched pedals accelerate to clutch and noticed that I had so much more power this way so I'm guessing that my accelerate pedal isn't depressing enough but I don't know. Any ideas of problem or a fix please guys?

G'day, and welcome to gtplanet:gtpflag:

Firstly a couple of quick questions. Do you have the Thrustmaster Control Panel installed on your computer (you can test your pedals in this panel), and are your Drivers and Firmware up to date?
Also do you follow the below procedure.

There's also a lot of info and dowloads for the drivers and firmware here: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t500rs-en/

If you do need to update your wheel it's very important that you follow the installation instructions to the letter.

If none of this helps it could be your potentiometer (either dirty or faulty) or if someone has had the pedals apart, they may have incorrectly reasssemled them (but this seems unlikely if they worked before).

Good luck and keep us posted :)

Hey thanks for the reply. I will try to re calibrate tomorrow and see if that makes any difference. When setting up the sim and PS I had no idea how to access the thrustmaster control panel. Do I do this on the PS? I'll let you know tomorrow if I have any joy. Thanks again

No worries. Edit; Before I get too far ahead of myself (as I'm not familiar with F1 2014), can you see on screen if your throttle inputs are the same or vary if you use the different throttles via the Mode button (like if you use the right pedal as throttle, can you hit full RPM)??

You can only access the control panel on pc. It looks like this.
