Ok guys i just got off the phone with amazon.com customer service and they have no idea why the product isnt listed when you type in thrustmaster t500 rs in the search so the guy told me to type in this: b004j6krd6....needless to say they have 3 in stock and i got mine on order and should be here january 21 - january 26...good luck guys for those of you who want to order it off of amazon.com!!! :sly:

okay actually i know why it doesn't show up when you search for thrustmaster t500 rs or thrustmaster or T500 RS....it's because you have to type in exactly Thrustmaster T500 RS GT5 Wheel....WOW what a search engine!?

One other issue may be that it's offered by a 3rd party seller rather than directly by Amazon.

yeah but i think it should still come up shouldn't it!? aren't there a lot of other 3rd party sellers on amazon who's products will show up? i could be wrong i never thought about that. Good point Shogunz!

"Amazon" still doesn't have it.

When Amazon does have it, it will also have a "Prime" listing. With Prime, it can be received next day for 4 bucks or 2 days for free.

This is a search for "thrustmaster"

Sorry but you're wrong...i called customer service earlier and they told me what to type in the search bar to locate it which i stated in my initial post if you read it! It's sold by a company called GizmosForlife, So go to the search again and follow my instructions below:

In the search type in exactly: Thrustmaster T500 RS GT5 Wheel. If that doesn't pull up type in this: b004j6krd6...i guarantee you it will pull it up! Like i said, i placed the order earlier today they had 3 left, i got one, and i think another user on here got the other one, so there should be one more left unless someone bought it. Also, here's a PRTSC for proof:

Hey sorry if i misunderstood your post "DaveTheStalker", If you meant that amazon isn't the company selling the wheel then you are correct, but there is a 3rd party seller whom is named GizmosForlife that is selling the wheel on amazon.com.

I just re-read your post after posting all this and i might have misunderstood so sorry again if i did!

We're cool. I've searched with the code Amazon gave you, by "Thrustmaster T500rs", "Thrustmaster T500 rs GT5", and simply by "Thrustmaster" as I showed in the last image. They all eventually get the result of the 3rd party seller.

My big question is still "WHEN WILL AMAZON START CARRYING IT!!!". I really wonder how Thrustmaster's supply of these is.

BTW, congrats on getting one ordered!!!

I buy something on Amazon almost weekly so I have a good deal of experience with having to be creative about searching for items. Sometimes a 3rd party offer will show up but if you click on the additional offers under that same item an Amazon offer may be available. I try to stay away from 3rd party dealers on there if I can because Amazon doesn't protect those purchases. There are instances when there is a 3rd party seller that Amazon offers purchase protection for, but it will clearly state the 3rd party's name and "FULFILLMENT BY AMAZON".

When Amazon does finally offer it the price will probably be considerably lower than some of the others we have seen offered which will probably prompt other etailers to lower there prices.

Ahhh okay i must have done something wrong or not looked more thoroughly when searching "Thrustmaster" either way i would still like to know the same thing because it does strike me as a surprise that GizmosForlife had 3 of them in stock and amazon had nothing considering amazon was one of the major retailers to supply the T500 RS!? however i have ordered from GizmosForlife previously and never had a problem with any of their products or anything ontop of them having a great customer feedback rating. I'm just excited i found one :dopey:

Okay yeah as i thought, i never even thought about clicking on additional offers :dunce: like you i buy A LOT of stuff on amazon and have actually bought a few things from 3rd party sellers which id like to stay away from as well but if they have a good customer feedback i'm usually not too hesitant to purchase!

I really don't like paying for premium priced shipping and then waiting a week to 10 days. It bothers me knowing that shippers are deliberately sitting on a product to meet the bloated shipping window. Amazon's Super Saver Shippining is a sick joke, 9-15 business days delivery! "OK, you want to pinch pennies or be a wise shopper? You're going to wait as punishment!"

With Prime, $4 and you get your stuff next day is awesome!

Yes THAT is awesome! ! !

never waited more than 3 days for anything i bought with super saver that amazon sells. keep paying for prime. ill keep reaping the benefits 👍👍

edit: and that includes a tv stand and a g27 wheel and a thomas tank table. just a few examples.

I have to echo Bscary to a point as well as I know that with Super Saver shipping their policy is 5-8 business days however most stuff shows up within 2-3 days time.

I have Prime because I order so much on Amazon that it makes sense to but I have to admit that I have never upgraded to next day. Sometimes, though rarely, even with Prime eligible items, Amazon may process a drop-ship order that may require more than 2 business days.

I bet this will be available for purchase online at Walmart, Newegg, Dell, Tiger Direct/Compusa/CircuitCity within the next several months as they add this new product to their websites for sale. Just like Amazon did earlier this week on 01/14/2011.

The reason I am leading myself to believe this is only because I see the other product of similar pricing which is the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Flight Stick @ $499.99.:nervous:

Carried by all of the above stores mentioned. However, all stores sell via online only with no in store availability.:yuck:

But I would like to get it from Amazon or similar for sure.

Right now the only way to get one in store off a shelf is at Frys, if the have any left.:grumpy:

People are asleep on this wheel due to the price and recent release. As soon as word gets out, its gonna be hottt!!!

I bought a CD with Super Saver, it took 14 days. So yeah. I have also paid standard shipping, product arrived in 5 days as inicated in the shipping description.

Amazon had it since the 5th supposedly but only from 3rd party dealers...so technically "amazon" still doesn't have the product!

Amazon said mine should ship on the 18th or 19th. Haven't recieved squat as of yet. All I want is a tracking number is that asking to much?

Hate to break it to you but I think you bought third party and the info you received on the Amazon site was from the 3rd party seller. I believe the only thing you can do is call Amazon to ask them for the contact info of the seller. Hope you get your wheel soon.

You can email the seller directly. If they are worth their salt, they will respond quickly. Click on "where's my stuff!!!" and send and email.

3rd party order from GizmosForLife. 94% positive feedback for lifetime. I did send them an e-mail via Amazon. I got it for $630.11 or should I say I think I got it for....

Oh okay, that's the same 3rd party i got mine from as well! i've ordered a few other things from them as well and never had any problems with the orders so i guess patience is key in this or our situation haha like i said before it says expected delivery 21st to 26th of this month for my order :dopey:
