Thrustmaster T500RS brake problem

Hi guys, new bloke here, hoping for some advice!

Just bought the T500RS - incredible. I got it second hand, but from a guy I trust who'd only used it for a few dozen hours. I tested it and everything worked fine connected to a PS3 playing GT6 and Dirt3.

Now, after less than 10 boots I have no brake response at all. Everything else works fine, just the brake doesn't register. It had a basher mod and I removed that to be sure, but still nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms...

Have you fixed the pedals to a rig? There is an issue with the T500RS Pedal Set, where one of the brake cables can get nipped by a securing bolt for fixing the pedals, this can affect the performance of the brake pedal!!!
 
Yes, they were fixed to a rig, and I see what you mean! But my cables weren't nipped. I've opened a case with Thrustmaster (who seem to be incredibly efficient!) and am running through some checks as advised by them.

I'll update as necessary here - it may be of help to somebody else.
