After spending £450 on this wheel and base, I'm not spending another £200 on a steering wheel, the standard wheel is awful, plastic and rubber, the rubber has been irritating my skin.

So have saved a bit of money by wrapping the centre of the wheel and paddles with 5D carbon fibre film £2.98, using a scalpel to do a tidy job, then used a steering wheel cover for a logitech wheel, £10! Bargain. You have to stretch it a bit but once its on it makes the wheel chunky as hell, like a real car wheel, also comes in blue piping.

Am waiting on my ferrari badge, but you could use whatever badge you want.

It's transformed the wheel and now there's no need to buy another one.

Next month I'll be ordering some decent momo pedal plates too, I may have to drill holes in them so they match up with the thrustmaster pedals, but will definitely be another improvement for only £15
