Hey u guys.. just bought this wheel.. and man its great but expensive..

One very disapointing thing is that I cant find where to adjust the wheel rotation which is of default 1080. I contacted thrustmaster and they told me that I cannot adjust rotation in gt5.... what!!!! can this really be tru... ?

please help me guys.. im desperate.. its funny to drive but I cant compete with a 1080 wheel rotation.. my lap times drops with at least 1-2 seconds in average..

Any tips, tricks, knowledge.. rumours of an update from gt5.. anything ?

Nope, can't change that.

Is this your first wheel? Inexperience with a wheel in GT5 can explain why you're going slower than with a DS3. If this isn't your first wheel, then what you need is a bit of practice. :)

Actually in GT5 wheel rotation is limited to 900° on the thrustmaster. keep turning the wheel in a stationary car and you'll notice you get to a stop 1 and a quarter turns round which you can kind of push through, although you probably shouldn't as it's gt5 using the ffb motor to limit the rotation. then try that in the menu or something and you should be able to get 1 and a half times round.

I found it was the size of the wheel itself that made me a bit slower but you soon get used to that.

I do agree though. GT5 definitely needs wheel rotation adjustment. Trying to get round that really tight hairpin at cote d'azur on the seasonal time trial is pretty damned tricky in an F1 car. I would be much quicker if I could adjust to a quarter or even half a rotation.
