Nope. It's prefectly understandable for Brad Pitt, dressed up as Achilles... errh... Lion-O, to be looking vaguely in the direction of a Garfield-shaped Snarf. Loved the bits from Spy Kids... couldn't figure them out until about half-way through.![]()
I don't like the look of it. Did anyone else think that Snarf looked a bit cartoony, a bit like Garfield?
Shush! You'll give him ideas. He already ruined Transformers, lets let it end there.you KNOW who'd end up directing the Live Version...Michael Bay!
It could be worse...Shush! You'll give him ideas. He already ruined Transformers, lets let it end there.
He only does video game movies. My childhood memories are safe, unless he attempts a Pac-Man film.
You all are trying too hard. Cats was shut down on broadway some years back and I guarantee every single one of those actors would be perfect for these roles. They already know how to wear the makeup.Gods no on Hayden... and if it's Shia LeBeouf... I'll spit up laughing...
Samuel L. Jackson would make a great Panthro... but in the TV series, Panthro is so obviously "black" that a Vin Diesel version would be a nice change.
Interesting, when you think about it. Most of the characters seem to be thirty-something (at least, from their voices and the like) on TV... which would mean that Angelina Jolie would qualify as Cheetara. Can't think of a current actor who could do Tigra, though.
Huh?just NO hugh Jackman as Tigra...that's like putting Van Damme in a movie...INSTA FLOP!
For their purposes he best fit the look.Who's idea was it to put Vin Diesel in this mock-trailer?
speculation ahoy...
should we move any speculation to another thread?
couple of my thoughts
fenagle an Asian actor for tigra...for some reason, I'm thinking Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia
the Mutants should have half decent actors as them, and not get demoted all the way down to the cutting room floor (like some people will do)
Mumm-Ra should be someone recognisable for playing an occasional villian...or who would LIKE to play a villian
don't let it suffer from Batman and Robin syndrome.
From what i understand, the Thundercats film, set to be released in 2010, is due do be CGI and not live action.
Actually I think CGI is the better way to go with this. I feel live action leaves way to much room for it to come off looking like The Island of Dr. Moreau. That'd be a bummer... but it'll depend on the style of animation. Problem is, CGI doesn't do too well yet when used for realistic human expressions... it might bomb.
