I would like to say a massive thanks to PD for this check list update, it's saved me so much hassle.
Welldone guys.
I would be over the moon if they would also implement a sub catagory for race cars rally cars Lm cars in the garage menu too so it would be a little easier to find them all what with having 800+ cars its getting silly.
 
I disagree, they update features that must be from day 1, common sense.
 
Even though this feature should have been included from the start, it's good to finally see it, albeit nearly 3 months late.
 
Yeah very useful! And well it should have been in the game from day 1 but if so we would have had to wait till about now for the release of GT5... and even longer because there will be more update with things we really like and would be good to be included from the beginning...

I give PD a big thumbs up for regularly updating GT5...

Sorry im not the best english speaker/writer, i disagree with your thanks, and common sense is for PD.

Also i like the idea o class cars:tup:
 
Just dont want to scrap my car list i made in excel :( took so much time so ill stick with it ... just saves more time of having to open it up to check if i have that car or not 👍
 
I agree, this is a fantastic new feature added to the game. Whether it should have been in the game from day one or not, it's wasn't, and it's there now. Rejoice that PD decided to add this small, but remarkably useful, feature.

Yep I agree with you, whether it should of been in at the start or not is irrelevant its here now and I for one I`m pleased , also agree with your second point regards the sub category for Rally cars / race etc , that would be a great help, I think this was a well needed patch my only wish now would be for the A1s to wake up a little and realise that they are indeed in a race and the idea is to win.

Would also like to see the pp added to the weights and bhp of the A1`s when checking typical opponents cars in order to give a better guild in making it a fairer race
 
I recall when there was no download features with games so it goes withought saying we are all very lucky now and take it for granted.
Long gone are the days of buying games with potential and being stuck with original format content forever.
I love forums.
 
I actually enjoyed having a spreadsheet with all the models on, ticking them off as I bought them. I think the tick is a nice addition, it would have saved a rainforest if they had included it when it first came out ;)

You now have an icon next to the cars that you have in the dealerships!!

Yeah it's great, helps me keep track on what cars I already have so I don't buy another one.
 
Yeah, all this time I've been using mygranturismo.net, but I think I'll still use it to see what cars I need left :)
 
Yeah it's helpful. I also like the fact that cars in the UCD are available in different colours now.

This is probably the thing about 1.06 that excited me them most. I opened the dealer, saw those checkmarks and actually let out a whoop. There's a lot that PD still needs to work out, but here's some proof they do actually think about the little things and try to continually improve the game 👍

I don't mean to be another gtplanet complainer, but this seems like proof that PD will listen to complaints and fix what's broken rather than "thinking about the little things". Definitely glad it's in the game now though.

When I saw the title "New Dealership!!!" I actually thought you meant a new premium dealership.

That is solicitation.
 
This is all well and good, but please don't make a new thread for each thing you discover in the update.

Same thing I've done since the start of the game. 👍

It does save time now with not having to check before buying a car. I still enter it into my spreadsheet after buying though. This was a great addition to the game. There's a lot that I like in the new update.
 
Don't ditch your excel files! I use mine for other stuff such as power (after oil change and in many cases engine rebuild) and lap times for comparison (as GT5 inexplicably only logs the best 10)
