OK, this might sound kinda dumb cause I'm still a newbie, but last night I was playin around wiht a couple of my cars and realised that there was the option to put dirt tyres on Tickford and Mustang, so I did and gave it ago, it was good fun but not really practical. You all should try it.
Have fun.

Dude! Good to see someone else from the Emerald City on the boards!

 Even though fords( doesn't deserve a capitol 'F' ) are the worst
cars on tha face of this planet, I just had to test one out on the dirt!!:burnout: :burnout:

Well, that's HSV's fault for signing up with EA!

Seriously I would have loved to have seen the HRT Commodore in there as well - the talk is Holdens aren't happy with the amount of coverage Ford got with the ol' Falc in GT3 and aren't missing out next time.

With a bit of luck we might see the Tickford TE50 up against the HSV GTS Coupe in the next Gran Turismo instalment - that would be sensational!

yeh the TE50 and the GTS would be a nice little contest..........

even tho there is no HSV IN GT3,

l'm gonna buy V8challenge for PC when it's released, graphics aren't as good as GT3,

but there is quite a few good teams in the game :D

Yeah - I saw that. My PCs not quite up to full spec gaming, but the TOCA Race Driver (which here will be based around the V8 Supercars) will be worth a look, especially given TOCA's previous touring car games.

Gonna see if it's possible to use even jazzier cars on dirt like the Panoz, Lister and Zonda...
Sure it's gonna be a very interesting experience...

I've built a fully optioned Audi TT as a rally car and it worked quite well. It gets rather expensive to do all the mods and add in the central differential controls but it will get around pretty good.

NOPE... Couldn't do so... You cannot buy dirt tyres for them... :(

V8 challenge on PC rocks, cause you can easily crack the game open a change the car colour schemes to suite yourself.

I definately want there to be HSV in the next GT. A few particular models I would like to see are-
Peter Brocks Torana
Kingswood
Monaro (old and new)
Commodore VX,VY and GTS
Racecars-
HRT #1 Mark Skaife
HYL #02 Rick Kelly
Kmart Racing Team #51 Greg Murphy
TKR #021 Craig Baird
Castrol Perkins Racing #11 Steven Richards
Valvoline Cummins Repco (Garry Rodgers Motorsport) #34 Garth Tander

If these cars were in GT4 I would A) P*** myself with exitement and B) Never ever stop playing.

Ahhh - nothing like raising the dead...

At least it was under good circumstances. I was searching for V8 Supercar threads, cause I wanted to create a V8 Supercar thread and I came across this one so I thought what the hell.

I apoligise to continue to reserect this from the dead but, can you really put dirt tyres on the Tickford Falcon?

I knew you could slap them on the Mustang SVT but the Tickford is just insane, is it true? - What the heck, I'll try it.

The Falcon drives like a rally car on tarmac; I can't imagine what it's like on dirt! Though I did have a lot of dirt fun recently with a full-build MSE on dirt tires...

the tickford actually slides very nice on the dirt. the back end doesnt really kick out very badly either, but getting going is the hard part

i say the opel astra is harder to drive on dirt than the tick
