I keep getting a msg on start up that says time and date not set correctly which is correct, because my GT5 clock is an hour ahead.

How do I fix this? My PS3 clock is correct - can't find a place on the GT5 options menu to adjust the time.

PS3 XMB => Time/Date (its in the settings menu where you can change controllers and stuff, the 2nd menu item)

Your probably in the wrong timezone... so change timezone

I had this for ages, i went to the time and date settings and selected, set time & date via internet, rather than set manually, and it cured the problem.

It doesn't need to be 100% accurate, as long as the settings are correct. Almost every time I've seen someone complain about this issue(myself included) it's been due to daylight savings changing. Using it auto should work, but you'll lose your independent soul :p

99% positive that I set my PS3 time via the internet and my timezone is correct.

I've had my ps3 for about 3 years now and this only happened with GT5 and it wasn't until recently.

I'll confirm that my PS3 settings are correct in a few hours.

But for the sake of time, let's assume that my PS3 settings are correct - is there anything else I can do?

I have the same problem and it is not connected to system time. For some strange reason, GT5 time is one hour ahead of system time (time and time zone are correct). Right now, GT5 says it's four o'clock (east coast US) but my system says it's 3:00 PM.

exactly my problem (same time zone too).

now that I think of it though, one good thing about this is that I get the daily log-in bonus 1 hour earlier

I have the same problem but inverted

The system is one hour ahead the GT5 but the warning just comes when I’m connected at PSN.
