Tiered time trials

So one of my favorite ways to play is time trials. I love building a car and trying to beat my own times, problem is that it's one unified leaderboard, which makes it difficult to have different tiers of top times. I'd love to have tiers for under 300pp, 301-500pp,and 500pp+ at least but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that. My only solutions seem to be using different tracks for different tiers or saving fastest lap ghosts or replays and manually loading the one I want to beat.

Does anyone else have any other solutions to this problem? Is this something we can get PD to add to GT6 or maybe GT7?

Each week its a different car and track with different set ups and regulations,leaderboards(those guys are FAST)broken down into split and sector times,and then theres the archives to trawl through if you want a specific track/car combo...
I've done a couple now and gotta say i'm hooked,not the fastest by a huge amount,but my driving and track awareness have improved no end-give it a go,its not exactly what you're looking for,but its close....
