I preorderd my copy a few weeks ago on PlayAsia.... can't wait, TW PGA T is always so relaxing. You hear the birds and airplanes on the horizon, the trees move slightly in the wind, and still it is not boring, but totally addicting.

12 courses sounds great, the graphics were allright, no need to polish it a lot, although I guess they will improve it a little.
The new gameplay structure with the FedExcup etc sounds promising.

All I ask for is maybe a better online mode, it wasn't really running stable, there were connection problems every now and then. I mean, if COD2 and PGR3 are running perfectly, I see no reason why TW shouldn't, right ?

Apart from that, see you on the links in a a few weeks ( My copy comes from Asia, well in the end I save 25 $ which is... 25 $ so I guess I can wait a week longer... )

The demo is on the marketplace. I downloaded it and I'm very happy so far. The graphics are nicer ( although I didn't play '06 for a while ) and run smoother most of the time. The new "target area" is great, since having played TWPGAT over the last years it got a little too easy. They even left out the ideal put line, at least it is not on the same button anymore

I can't wait, this is a great update, no complaints so far.

Well I don't know if it got released outside Europe, but I think it is very unlikely.... Btw there are 4 or 5 holes to play, each from a different course.

Cool. Haven't played this since '05. Shooting 48 on St. Andrews is fun, but it does get boring after a while. Playing with a friend is always great. First to get a par usually loses.

I played this demo last night for about 30 minutes. I had the most fun shooting the ball at the spectators. Did you know you can hit them and they react???!!! I shot off to the side to see what happens and sure enough I hit a guy in the head and knocked him out. So I decided to stay over there and shoot at different people in different spots on their bodies to see their reaction. So I shot this guy right in his crotch and sure enough he buckled over and fell to the ground. I laughed sooo hard and just had to keep doing it.

I won't be buying Tiger Woods. Age of Empires 3: Warchiefs comes out on the PC tomorrow. Heather and I will both be playing that for a while so the 360 will finally get some rest and my gaming PC will finally get dusted off.
I will probably rent Tiger woods over the weekend and play a few rounds with DG.

Can you read Chinese/Japanese/whatever the hell the language is? I'd think paying the extra $25 and getting it much earlier and being able to read it is worth it.

lol thats funny, you could hit people in the 2006 game also. did you like the gameplay and the graphix ???

Oh I didnt realize you could hit people in the 2006 version. The gameplay was excellent and the graphics were pretty good too. I like how you can tilt the club. Never seen that before. The scenery graphics are not the best out of all the games on the 360 but Tiger Woods face looked almost perfect.
First time I played the 4 holes in the demo I got a birdie, eagle, par, and par.

So I quoted Duck and wrote a lot of text which I won't repeat.
So in short I said : Asia 360 games are American games with NTSC-J region code ( or not ) : Everything is English including manual.
Even if not, Japanese is no problem, I have a ton of them for a dozen systems.
And Tiger Woods PGA Tour gets released on Oct. 26th, which means that I save 25$ and get it at the same time.
And it's a simple calculation : I buy 3 Asian games for the price of 2 PAL game... pretty good deal for a week of waiting each....

Well some Asian games are region code free. Apart from that I have two Xbox 360's, one PAL and one Japanese...
@PS2 : it depends... many Asia games were in English and some Japanese games had a lot of English ( Arcade ports etc )... Most japanese games are completly in Japanese though ( apart from some menus )...

I rented and played it for several hours over the weekend. I would say you have to be a hardcore fan of golf to buy it. Its a good game but not a buy for me. Way too many games coming out in the next couple weeks. GOW, COD3, Rainbow Six Vegas, FEAR, Viva Pinata, and NFS:C.

Finally got my copy yesterday. So far I really like the game. The graphics have improved, the gameplay is a little more realistic and yeah it's simply fun. I needed a few rounds before I got the hang of it again but now I'm back All I need to do is forgetting a few over par rounds I had yesterday... can't remember a +par round since tw pga tour 2002
