I think it's the Formula Car of Gran Turismo 2 :) That car is so sweet. In my opinion I think it's the best racing car besides Top Speed..It owns in rally racing, and in tarmac courses..I guess it's how you master the skills to make that car perform it's best..
 
I think you need to get deeper in the game if you think it's the best car in the game. I like it too, but I don't use it for road races very often.
 
I have to agree, it's an awesome car:D i won most of my endurance races in it. never tried rally though, i use my escudo
 
I love him. A speeder for his hp, light, very versatile, easily adaptable to every track, beautifull too. I even started the game in german just to get the opel version which I´m more used to. The driving of the car is definitly his strong point, it´s very fun and all... but no matter how you put it this isn´t the best car in the game, not even close to it.

You can say he dominates in his hp class or that he is the car you prefer but not the best. I think you should give the other cars a try... or are you afraid of the big bad +700hp rwd wheelspin? ;)

Serioulsy though, if you haven´t tried this one yet, go for the audi tt LM. I think you´ll like him.

bla is right. It is not possible to say car x is the best in this or that class. Firstly, judging a cars performance against AI cars is always dodge, and secondly the only true indicator of performance is timetrial. But then, a true class champion will do well on all tracks, not only certain ones.

The Tigra Ice Racer is a very overlooked car in the game. If you can't win an FTO LM or Celica Rally Car, this is the next best thing. 524hp doesn't look like much, but you can beat everything in the game on tramac or dirt with this car (save the Suzukis-on-steriods).
