Anyone know how to update the time in GT5:P? The time is set correctly on my PS3, but for some reason it is an hour behind on the game. Every time I fire it up, I get a message that the time and date are incorrect. But I can't figure out how to fix it.:guilty:

Make sure PS3 clock is set VIA Internet. Other then that.. cant help ya.

Maybe PD haven't bothered updating the DST. So it's probably nothing to do with the system, it's to do with PD.

yeah mine did that because of daylaight savings. It didn't recognise that the time changed, even though I changed it. I didn't know, but does that notification also mean that the race clock on GT is also out?

I was having the same problem until I used internet to set my ps3 system clock and turned off daylight savings.

If daylight saving is supposed to be on, leave it on, if not turn it off. I don't know whether you use daylight saving or not. Just set the clock manually, Gt5p gives you a few minutes either way before it gives a message saying the clock is wrong.
Setting the clock via internet doesn't alter the Daylight Saving option, I bet it's turned off on your PS3, go and check it and if it's off turn it on and set the clock again if you have to.

Toggle the daylight savings feature. My time was off for an hour before I realized it. The daylight savings feature is manual.

I suggest you set it anyway, regardless of whether it is already correct. I once had GT5P notifiying me time was wrong, even though it was correct. After setting it again (to the exact same date and time) the notification was gone.

The reason you get the message is because GT5p takes it time for the clock from the time zone you select ( taking into account whether you have daylight saving on or not ) It does not get it from the system clock, however when these don't match ( it can be a few minutes out and it will be fine ) the message appears. I believe this is because the GT5p clock looks at the time zone and takes the time and date from there ( mine is GMT ) then it adjusts for daylight saving ( + 1 Hour ) if the option is turned on ( Daylight Saving ) if it is off ( Standard ) when it's supposed to be on the GT5p clock will be an hour behind. So in short, if GT5p says your date and time are incorrect, it is and you should fix it. The thing that is wrong is most probably the Daylight Saving option, if it's not set correctly it will cause an error, even if your system clock "appears" correct.
