Hello guys

By now you'd probably expect chapter 3 in my oh so exciting (yeah right) "drift bootcamp", but I decided just to show up some assorted clips so you could give me pointers on what I'm doing right/wrong.

To make a long story short.

Here it is. Go grab it while it's still hot... :P

I advice on downloading it, rather than streaming it, due to it being rather large in format and size.

your grasp of the basics is great, now just work on timing, entry points, etc. Your angles are good, but your lines are bad, other than that, you rock, keep it up

I agree with Bryan..... You have the right idea, you just need to keep it up, and work up to faster entry's, and bigger angles...... Great job, keep us posted..... I am very interested in seeing your progress.........

;)

Right, I'll get back to it :)

Hopefully I should have evolved somewhat after the weekend, then I can practice more.

Regarding the setup of the car...I'll get back to you about that...just woke up and memory is a bit foggy ;)

Right (left?)

Setup for my car is

Spring Rate - 10.6/10.0

Ride Height - 100/100

Damper bound - 8/6

Damper Rebound - 8/6

Camber Angle - 4.0/3.0

Toe Angle - 0.0/1.0

Stabiliser - 1/1

Brake Balance: 16/16

LSD Initial: 0/52

LSD Acceleration: 0/52

LSD Decrease: 0/52

Gears:

1st - 3.737
2nd - 2.837
3rd - 2.178
4th - 1.683
5th - 1.322
6th - 1.061
final - 4.697

Well that's that, happy drifting...and if you're interested, I use manual shifting...dunno why but I like that the best.

Closest major city is Gothenburg. I live in a small little village...(no, I'm not a hobbit!).

Thanks for your support and pointers guys...feels good to be appreciated :)

plz post in the drift settings depot( the link is in my sig that say;s need drift settings) :D

you just need to learn the limits of your car, it'll do it, just learn how to make it do it. If it spins out, pay attention to why (spins out too easy when acclerating through a drift, when braking, when doing an inertia drift, etc) and modify the settings that has to deal with that issue (accleration = LSD Accel setting, braking = LSD Decel setting, Inertia Drift = need to loosen the rear end, etc) that way your settings match your style.

^what he said.

and also, try messing around with different HP levels..but thats only if you really need more umph...

The hp in it is more than enough...but I think it's mainly to me getting to know the limits, and practice, practice, practice...oh I think I forgot to mention practice ;)

I'm slowly getting the hand on brake drifting...I wonder what the future holds for you... :p

for me?

well....im good to go. just need a way to edit my own videos cuz i'd REALLY like to produce my own crap.

my uncle just got pinnacle so ill see what i can do there.

and with your drifts....try starting them a little earlier. the endings look pretty good to me.

you know what......its good. just that 2nd drift of the first one....that was late.

just get angles. peace.
