time to crush the "what is the uranus talk"

I've heard more talk about what is a Uranus more than I need to. I've heard it called a Saab 900, Saab 9000, Ford Escort, Ford Mustang, and even a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. I know exactly what this car is and have since day one. I know a lot about mustangs and one thing I know for sure is that NEVER have Mustangs been front wheel drive. Even the 4 cylinders they made in the 80's that could barely get up a hill (my friend used to own one), were front wheel drive. I know for a fact the other cars are front wheel drive. If you do a burnout in the Uranus you will discover that, it is in fact, rear wheel drive. Please share this information with all GTA enthusiasts.

I'm pretty sure a RS Cosworth is 4WD and there are a few 4WD vehicles that are rear wheel drive in the game so that doesn't really prove much.
 
... well, this got me intrigued. I'm pretty hot with cars, so I was thinking of taking a look myself and awarding points to different peoples' guesses.

Trouble is, I don't know one GTA IV car from another (because I don't have the game) so I looked up the thread in question and used the find tool. Unfortunately, the sensor in my mouse is crapping out so I have to hold it very steadily with my left hand while I scroll and click, which is a pain. And after all this discussion about the car, I can't see a screenshot of it in the thread, so I don't have a frame of reference.

If you gave me a photograph, I reckon I could find Uranus (with both hands) and then award a star rating.

What do you think?

I'm pretty sure it's a Ford Sierra or at least that's where most of the influence comes from.
 
Why doesn't someone post a screen shot of it so those of us yet to purchase GTA4 can add their two pence worth?
 
This is so obviously a Fox-body Mustang I can't believe anyone's having this debate.

I think the reason people are thinking Escort or whatever else is that the modified version (appearance only) has rally lights on the front and a Cosworth-looking wing.

I thought the other version was also faster. But yeah I can see that it's also heavily based on the Mustang. I wonder where they got the rear lights from.

And the fact that it's FWD.
 
As has been said the other version has a Cosworth wing. The Escort was in the first game.
