Time to get a new game, Uncharted 3, MW3 or BF3???

I'm off to Gamestop this morning to pick up a new game. What's the opinions of all the good people on the GT Planet forums? What should I get guys? Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3... thanks in advance lads...
 
Uncharted 3 all the way, the developers deserve it the most in my opinion. It's a complete different game though, compared to the other two.
 
I haven't played uncharted 3 yet (playing bf3 and batman), but the first 2 where fantastic and everything I have heard about uncharted 3 was it was a winner again.
 
I picked up Uncharted 3 and got Warhammer 2nd hand, the Guy in Gamestop said I can return Warhammer within 7 days for a full refund, nice touch Gamestop. So hope to finish that and then sink my teeth into Uncharted 3. Hearing that BF3 campaign isn't up to par so I'll pickup MW3 next, maybe with the return of Warhammer...

That can't possibly be a surprise........ Bad Company's stories were terrible. BF has never had a story but at least they tried. It was the MP that made the game so great.

By the way a Toy's R Us leak reveavled, that

Battlefield 3
Batman Arkham City
Call of Duty Black Ops
And many other recent releases will be $28 on Thanks Giving at 10PM. I have my $95 set a side to get 3 games that night.

Uncharted 3 isnt as good as the first two, but is still a brilliant ride. The first half in particular is histerical.

Modern Warfare 3 is Modern Warfare 2 with different scenery. Basically. Set pieces are spectacular, but you dont actually play those, just watch.

And Battlefield 3 is lacking any greatness in SP but for my money has a much more coherant and believable story. And is still as soild as MW3 in terms of gameplay.


Multiplayer in each of the three is much like its predecessor, if not identical. Dont hope for any surprises here.
 
Uncharted 3, its better than the first and as good as, if not a lil shorter than 2. One of the best games on the market right now.
 
I tried Uncharted 3 tonight, my friend brought it over for a lend, first thing I noticed were that the graphics look amazing, still very console looking but none of the blurryness i've seen with other PS3 titles, amazingly well done animation, good lighting effects and hardly any jaggies, very impressed. I'm not really comfortable with how the controls work and i despise the shooting mechanics (gamepad + shooting is yuck, especially as a PC gamer), but the storyline seems pretty cool (sort of national treasure, indiana jones meets tomb raider?).

Good game so far, though I'm not very far in.
 
Uncharted 3 is a quick game, only 30 hours of adventure. But mind blowing adventure. It's worth to pick as first game and then after you done with it just take another. Swap, sell what ever :)
 
And 30 hours is being generous. 2 or 3 sittings it can be done. Maybe 10 hours?
 
Well you couldnt have made it any harder if you tried thats probably the 3 best releases of the year.
I would say MW3 as you'll be able to pick up the other 2 for quite cheap soon and COD games ussually sell for full price until they release the next one.

Yes, i did entire scenario in 10h 15 minutes :/ so i was wrong about that time. But Uncharted 2 was way much longer :/ 👍
 
Uncharted 3 without a doubt, the gameplay and story line are epic, the graphics rock, the online is awesome, not to mention its more than just a "kill this kill that" type game compared to the other two.
 
I found a reason why you should try Uncharted 3 first :)

Even Indiana Jones play it. And THATS IMPRESSIVE 👍 :sly:
 
I got Uncharted 3, started playing it last night, enjoying it so far, basically like being in an adventure movie...
 
When you finish main story, try on line battles. It's enormous fun, it will suck you into it with the same power like MW3 and BF3 would do 👍
 
I know this thread is aging and the op probably bought a game already, but I got the amazon buy 2 get one free deal deal. BF3, Uncharted 3 and Gears 3. My only regret is BF3. Uncharted is a "must play" experience. Truly epic, too many memorable moments, coupled with the best graphics:drool:
My advice..wait till BF3 drops to 39.99 or 29.99..and by that time, another patch will be out and it will be a win-win:tup:👍
