Time trial, and drift trial

Ive done most of the races, and completely understand these. There's a experience reward and credits. On the time trials and drift trials, how do you know what time your going after? Or how many points you need to pass? Do you even get experience/credits from the time trial and drift trials? I'm a little confused here, sorry.

No, there aren't rewards for time or drift trials.

You can check your standings in it on the menu once you've selected it.
