Grand Valley. Frustratingly 1:11.857 is still my time. My optimal went down to a 1:11.642
But just can't keep it clean. S1 I can do 20.55x but then I either invalidate or am to slow at S3.
And if S2 & S3 are clean it seems my best S1 is a 20.70x
I'll let this go and be happy wih it

Interlagos. Was in silver after a quick 5 laps earlier. Gave it some more attention and got down to 1:42.358 with still some time to gain. 1:41 would be nice but I don't think I can get 0.4s of my time. Time will tell! 💪

Morning folks,

Went back to Interlagos this morning knowing there was time to find compared to my latest session.
For ages I kept outbraking myself for the slower corners but finally had a better run to the middle section, although I lost a tenth in the last corner.

But happy to go from a .744 to a .665 for now but I was hoping for more on the board 🤣
I went from 59 to 50 🙈🤣, so very close at the top 😱

Sooooo... what are we getting tomorrow... any change from regular TTs... e g night time ? or.... rain... or.. dirt track....or tuning allowed ??
It would be great to have a surprise update to GT7 where the Goodwood TT would be brought back, given the FOS is this weekend... but I don't hold my breath :D

EDIT: PD could bring in maybe that tuned A112 from the Daily Races, or one of those tuned cars from last week's Daily C at some track but again, I don't think it's gonna happen.

EDIT2: just to be precise, I meant here the Goodwood Hillclimb track that was in GT6.

YEEEEEEEEEES!
Finaly, after returning to Monza at saturday and around 300 Km each day since then, i finaly broke the 1:47 barrier!
Gran Turismo™ 7_20250709170635.jpg

Yesterday i had a small improvement to a 1:48,032, with an optimal of 1:47,755.
Today i had small improvements in S1 and S3, but for a very long time it felt like it's impossible to get 3 good sectors in a single lap.
Although there's still time on the table, i'm done with this TT. I haven't seriously countet, but i guess i did more than 3000 Km! 🤪

I tried to get under 1'11 "xxx on Monday and last night, but all I managed was to get close to my 11.076 by doing 11.092.... and 11.1xx at least 5 times... etc......😡😡

and as we're having dinner with the family tonight and my grandson is going to be squatting on my PS4, it's all over for the Lancia and to stay in the 3500th range... already 3300th last night so...😂😂

well never mind, I'll wait for the next one and concentrate on the GTO.....

Yes very curious what we will get, as mentioned above Goodwood wood be cool with a Shelby Cobra Daytona '64 or something! 😁....but the chances of getting a faster GR Group is higher I guess.... GR2 at Mount Panaroma 😁😱🤣

Hi friendos! I am on a time trial sabbatical but after stupidly entering the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Virtual Championship… thing, I feel obliged to get into the top 100.

It’s a bit of a pain because of the usual Monza problems but the car is quite lovely! A poor S1 stopped me from getting a time I’m happy with, another two tenths there and we are golden!!

Looks like I’m missing a lot of fun in the other two trials but I’m guessing a lot of people on my friends list won’t be missing me :D

Back from Silverstone and back to GV to see if I could eek out a smidge more in the Delta, did about 30 laps getting nowhere and then slice a further tenth off 😎

Have really enjoyed this one, probably my favourite for a while (aside from the frankly stupid track limits)

Very frustrating session in the Delta last night. The Delta itself is enjoyable enough, but I'm not a particularly big fan of this layout of Grand Valley.

I set my best time about an hour and a half before I finished the session, that's an hour and a half of exactly 0 improvement. And to be so close to a sub 1:11 and a top 100 was also adding to the frustration.

Main loss of time was coming from T3-5, exit of T8 and the exit of the final corner. I just could not get comfortable navigating T3-5 and cutting the corner correctly without clipping the outside barrier. The back was sliding out on half the attempts, or I was misjudging the braking point, holding the brakes for too long, not getting on the power at the right time. Then T8 and the final corner, I was losing lots of time getting the exit right, again not getting on the power soon enough, or not rotating the car properly.

Apparently this trial was very popular with the Dutch people, top 6 are currently all showing a Netherlands flag.

Next up, Ferrari GTO at Brazil, could be fun, but I've never been particularly fast around Sao Paolo, so this might be a struggle.

Agonisingly close. Yours truly as well... No cigar for me this time.

I did a few laps following Hollo this morning. It’s a really interesting TT as there is time everywhere but stringing it all together it tricky with so many technical sections.

A massively fun one for sure and will probably be popular generally but hard to pin down the overall difficulty as it’s a marmite track.

My lap in VR

@Tidgney great guide as always.

GTplanet has been acting weird for me the past 16 hours. I kept getting brought to an error page. My internet connection is running smooth so I don't know what is going on. Strange...

Happy hot lapping Thursday guys!

Finally got a silver lap time, which will do for me this time, but at least it's finally TT with a good rear engined car (not downplaying the DeLorean either that one is great too)I'm just not a fan of Porsche cars but RUFs are fine and dandy!
