First attempt in a couple of weeks so had 2 TTs to do today. Dislocated a finger a week or so ago playing in my first football match of the season, and it's so painful to use a controller right now but managed to fight through for this attempt, my braking is absolutely terrible though atm because of it as I can barely move my left ring finger which is strapped to the middle one.

If I'm on your leaderboards that will explain my times for the next few weeks! Please don't judge me haha.

Will be playing this sporadically if at all until maybe the end of September and then get back at it properly... Fingers crossed, pun intended!

Ehh, not a particularly nice TT. Last night I did 2’02.260 which was 0,81% and 45th which I normally would’ve been pretty happy with and probably settled for but on that lap I really screwed up Dunlop, braking too late. The rest of lap wasn’t bad but what really did that lap was fortune being on my side for the chicane. Never really got a succesful lotto passage like that again.

Anyway, it kinda sucks when a lap with obvious mistakes ends up being your PB, you don’t really want that. I also felt that I had pretty good pace here, bit quicker than usual. Something you wanna take advantage of, even if the combo isn’t to your liking. I was conflicted!

I think the main issue here (apart from the chicane always being ****) were the RM tyres, they offer way too much grip for this car, this chassis can’t handle this kind of grip. Makes it feel unnatural and incredibly bumpy. Trying to land the car in the chicane was borderline farcical. Off the showroom I think it comes with SH, if I’m not wrong? I doubt it’d be this tedious on sports.

0’37.648 / 1’05.420 / 1’30.725 / 2’02.260
0’37.642 / 1’05.275 / 1’30.564 / 2’02.739 (died in the chicane)
0’37.638 / 1’05.181 / 1’30.489 / 2’02.266 (absolute **** ending)
0’37.531 / 1’05.108 / 1’30.352 / 2’02.040

Been away for a couple week so tried the Mazda for 10 laps or so. It's weird, my laps feel pretty good and i quite like the car but nowhere near gold, at about 4.5%, I am sure i could find a second with more practice but strangely slow on a favourite track of mine.

The audi is just awful, what a terrible car. So hard to tell if it will bite or just drive itself off in a fit of understeer.

And when Shooter runs his laps on the final day

I know you gotta be exhausted from using the wheel so much, don't know how you do it man. I'd be worn the hell out and would have to sleep 20 hours to even get back on track to hot lapping.

@Ed_Night I know that had to hurt bad, well just try and try again until you get your desired magic lap.

After mostly driving 250kms & just reaching close to my PB of yesterday (1:44:325) with a 1:44:386, I felt a little frustrated. So I just switched to A/T for some winding down laps & I set a new PB of 1:44:260.....LOL.

I found it strange & astonishing that I could match my M/T times with my A/T ones. There was a time I used to drive A/T with TC1 but now I stick to M/T with TC0. SO this A/T time with no TC really put a smile on my face after a mild frustrating day where I though progress couldn't be made.

Somewhat restored an appropriate margin to P2 after correcting the gearing at the final corner, but slower opening 2 splits.

Table and chair setup FTW!
Lol it's hilarious to me that this is the setup of one of the best GT7 time trialers in the world.

I mean, the wheel is nice, don't get me wrong. But to see it clamped on a desk like this and with that little monitor, there's so many ppl with big metal rigs and fancy gadgets and whatnot and you're over here killing it like this, that's awesome

PS that was not me hating on your setup in any way, hope it didn't come off that way. Just more bare bones is all and you're making the absolute most out of it. Amazing
