SAme thing..any tips on how i can improve. or when the ai screws up

also..wheneva i get a hella good score (2 place)..and i try again..i always mess up...im better without the ghost. (like after u get a good score the ghost will run that on the track)

There is only one good tip for you: keep practising:)

One way is to drive a couple of laps, then watch the demo and see your ghost against the number 1 time. Then you can see where you can improve. Then race again a couple laps and watch again.

BTW, you can turn your ghost off with select during the race.

Lots of time to be found on that final chicane before that sweeping left turn to the home stretch. You know you've done it right when you're acclerating nearly all the way through it. Also, that first combination turn is crucial. I found that the best braking point for me was just after going through the first bend of it, and maybe coasting a bit through the fist part too, not sure. Stay deep to the inside on that whole turn because sliding out in the middle to set up for the second part isn't as fast as riding the rumble strip nearly all the way.

I think it would be cool if you could send me the ghost of what you've got so I can take a look and maybe find some time in there for you.

Good thoughts there Dolbytone

That last chicane is punishing with the cones :rscared:..

Another tip for you is to ensure you get the best drive you can out of that final sweeping corner :curvyrd:..

What gear change are you using? As it can make a difference in gaining time :clock:

Also, if u are getting desperate u can either leave the test for another moment, u will feel better. Then do it another time. This what is happening to me right now. Damn IB-8 test. I cant get a gold in it!

I completed that damn whole test. License IB-8 took me two hours worth of tries.

Another tip: It helps not fooling around if u fail to comlete the gold time. For example: U screw a turn, then brake, and just of anger, u go to the wrong way and smash the car in the next wall. Believe it or not, those actions are recorded into ur subconscious thus making u more nervous and comiting the same stupid mistake again and again. Keep focused, put some music on the background, not the GT3 music.

yea.......i just beat APRICOT HILL...by like.2 seconds. NOW any tips on SWISS ALPS!!
Now that I can finally talk about this time trial without developing a facial tic, the secret here is learning to be quick in the handbrake turns - ALL the time to be made up is there. I was about a second down before the last set of hairpins and made up two seconds there. If you're quick through those, you can get away with some atrocities on the faster corners.
