Ok, how do the timed races work? My feeling is that who ever does the most laps during the alloted time wins the race. but I've been hearing that you don't need to do any laps, as long as you cross the finish line first after the time limit has been hit - can anyone shed some light on this for me? I'm about to start the 9 hour race and i don't want to get hosed after 9 freakin hours of racing because i don't know the offical rules.

You have to race for 9 hours, and be in first position to win the race.

ok, but does 1st position mean be laps ahead of the competition or does it mean cross the finish line first at the 9 hour mark?

Most laps completed in the time limit = Win.

Nice, That's what i thought. Thanks for the apple there.
