Just a few tips for everyone making tight corners, as this seems to be a common problem when recreating tracks (aside from elevation change, but we can't do anything about that).

- Use narrowest track width (6 metres).
- Use "Decrease Turn Radius" option (see http://www.gran-turismo.com/au/gt6/manual/ > Create Your Own Tracks > Page 3 > about halfway down). Decrease the radius of the straights before and after the hairpin as well, not just at the apex section.
- Position the anchors so they are right next opposite each other going in opposite directions like below (the ")" brackets are supposed to be the hairpin)

-----<)
- Zoom in as much as possible so you can get the anchors as close as possible next to each other.
- Steady hands are needed (lol).

I can make hairpins as tight as the first turn at Eiger on my version of Akina with this method (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/mt-akina-eifel-flat.335321).

Hope this helps :) 👍

Any way to set the track width back to a certain width after creation?

Nope. You're stuck with what you select.

The "decreasing radius" option only changes the trackside width, not the tarmac width. Also, if you set it narrow you won't be able to place trackside objects.
