Tips for Grand Canyon w/ GTFP wheel

Does anyone have any tips on getting gold on the second to last license test (purple). The one where you have to drive the Subuaru rally car on Grand Canyon. I can almost get silver, but gold seems almost impossible. The 900 degrees steering makes it awfully hard to really control the car well. Also what's the most you need to turn on the wheel? Thanks for the help.

I believe that Arwin posted a video of it. Unfortunately, I don't know if is a gold trophy run, but it seems like it.

Yes, it is most definitely a gold run. Beat it by almost 3 seconds!
Arwin, you are the apex king! If you did this with the wheel, then you have impressed me.

There's somebody on Arwin's site that posted a 2:19 on this test. Is that a proven time? Is it possible?

Holy crap. That's friggin frightening. I can almost get gold now but dang, beating it by 3 seconds...I wish there was at least one more rally track. Oh well.
