hi,
I'm new here but i'm a pretty good ds3 driver, not the best but ok.
I don't know if this belongs to tuning or questions so...
I used search and couldn't find annything.

So here is my question.
i'm going to try the 24h le mans but i don't want to use a overpowered car for it, but normaly in the 4h races i lose the battle in the pit lane because i don't know a tune that doesn't make my tires gone way before the others.

i normaly use a stiff suspension +-15in the front and in the rear 2 less than in the front and a 2-3 camber angle (in the rear 0.4 less).

i use soft tires just because the hards last just as long as the softs.

what should i set high / low to last longer with my tires?
i know i should put the brakes soft and don't slam the gas after a corner but control the gas.

also, do hard tires last longer than soft or is it just the grip?

srry if this looks like a dumb question or has been asked before, but i couldn't find annything

EDIT:
i ran 45 min on the track and i can hold the tires till the 7th lap(the AI goes in in the 9-11th lap, my front is ok but my back tires are finished(http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/696/foto391x.jpg/). is there a way i can fix it by adjusting supspension or something?

For me, i try not to do late braking and control my throttle while I'm coming out of a corner.

I think that those are the primary keys to tire saving... you must also avoid powerslide, wich is great in replays and photoshoots but kills tire's life.

Nope... Not from what i've tried.

It's just the grip difference. ;)

They should change how quick tire compounds diminish. I think initially the difference was price but who can't afford 30k for tires?
