I am doing B-Spec Le Mans 24Hour race, and I use Red Bull X2011, I chose the car because I didn't want to sit there and watch 24 Hours race and press a button every 30seconds. And I have a problem with tire selection.

1. It is wet weather and track water level is slowly drying out, but no matter if i select Racing Intermediate or Racing Rain my Bob wants to Pit-Stop. But when I put Racing Soft/Medium/Hard tires he just slides around and pitting is not in his mind anymore. It ****ing weird, also other AI drivers have put on Racing Hards/Mediums and Softs and most of them slide around. Is it a bug?

2. Another question, I was doing one Seasonal Event in the same track, and it was also wet and at night (then there wasn't the pitting bug), and everyone was racing with Racing Intermediate tires, and so was I.

3. When sun raised everyone's tires were rapidly wearing off, but why? Track Wetness was at 40% and was slowly draining.

Also my 3 drivers are level 30-34 that are currently racing and they are all out of energy. This race is a mess, thank god I didn't choose a car powerful as other cars in the race, it would be a 24 hour nightmare.

I had to, sorry!

I'm sorry! It just implies the driver (the face) is saying Problem? because well, it is messing with you. The difference in traction and temperature would surely cause a differencE, say I.

Bob likes to choose his own tires preference. Try to follow his requirements by not changing anything default.
On the seasonal, my bob was doing fine starting with intermediate tires.
Um.. Maybe he wants to pit not due to tires but due to his stregth?
Oh and one more, try to check what tires your opponents are using.

Well that's the problem, all other drivers chose dry Racing tires for the wet weather and most of them were just sliding and spinning out in every single corner. My Bob was also not happy until I gave him dry Racing tires, I guess they just wanted to have fun? 💡

He wants slicks because the racing line is dry.
If he gets off the racing line he'll loose all grip.
Have you tried putting him on Sport softs?
I know it sounds strange but they have good grip/durability on the dry racing line and good grip in the wet. And BOB will be pleased with them as well.

This.

And maybe for tracks as huge as sarthe or nurburgring, weather sometomes not evenly distributed.

I don't think that it's normal, it was a very big track and only 12 drivers, no way that even racing line would be dry, it was raining and wetness at 90%, and if there are areas that are not wet then definitely not the race track, everyone always try to keep racing track even, but the racing line is what usually gets deformed by heavy cars that drive on it, and the rain would fill the hole.

And it would be too much of a risk anyway to drive slick tires on water, even if racing line would be dry, drive out the racing line and you may slide out and wreck your car and even die, especially in those 300km/h lightweight racing cars
