I have been mulling this over recently, as I've been wrapping up amateur level. There are certain races that have tire wear, and some that don't. In tire wear races, the tires need to warm up before they offer the best grip, then they wear out.
In non tire wear races, do the tires warm up to best grip, then stay there, or do they start out with best grip and hold it through out the race?
This actually just came up in "lap time comparison" forum about the viper challenge. I ask because of the recent threads about challenges, and importance of tire selection.
On my second trip through the game, I would purchase two sets of tires. Super softs or softs to qualify on, then a set of medium-slicks to run in the race.
Thanks
