Is there a way I can setup the car to slow tire wear and keep the same driving style?

you can add less toe (closer to 0) but that will set up the car differently. 💡 Basically, you have to get on the throttle smoothly, steer smoother to the point that the front wheels arent screeching wildly as you turn.
By doing these things, you might even shave a couple seconds off your lap times. :dopey:

Hope i helped :)

Reducing Downforce increases tire life as well as previously stated reductions in toe, and a less intence driving styles lets not forget.

also taking of any turbos, superchargers and NA tune kits will reduce tire wear because more power equals more spin of the wheels which makes the tire life go down. An example is, the Pescarolo 04 with a stage 4 turbo lasts only 18 laps with me driving on super hard back and hards on the front at Fuji 90's. If i put a stage 3 turbo on instaed of a stage 4, (power goes donw from 1100 to 890) tire life goes fom 18 laps to 23 laps (which is the 4 laps longer than the last AI to pit!).

I would have thought it was the other way round.

Surely less downforce means less means less weight pushing down on the tyres which would mean more sliding therfore there would be more wear.

At least in gt3, downforce would decrease tire wear, because I'd slide more will less df... but that may be cause I used d-pad, so I wasn't very smooth with my inputs.

DF increases tire wear in GT3 & GT4

Trust me

Down force increases the pressure pushing the car down, more presure more grip, more grip more tread loss.
