Well, problem solved!
If you turn on the wheel and use it primarily, if you then turn on the controller, hold in the PS button and go to controller settings and reassign controller, set it to player one but leave the wheel turned on. This means you can navigate the menus or whatever with the controller (or wheel) and race with the wheel. You can take photos using the controller also.

Sorry if this has already been posted!

I guess it's because I was used to the Xbox and having two controllers both assigned to player one is new to me xD

You can set your DS3 to player one and your wheel to player two… when you race.. use the wheel for anything else use the ds3, and theres no need to re-assign the numbers.. you can race if the wheel is the controller two

This works whit the DFGT

Or you can turn the PS3 on by using the controller, then plug the wheel in. Just an alternative.

I just want a decent photo mode. As someone who is quite adept at pictures with an SLR in full manual mode, the photo mode in GT5 is too limiting. Where's my ISO setting!!!

I feel your pain. I used photo mode for the first time the other day, and I saw "ISO Auto" and thought, "I'll just cursor to that to change it".... and it turns it was a glorified illuminated sticker.

You can also use the wheel to steer and the controller to accelerate and brake at the same time.

Then you can use yours feets to steer and hands to accelerate/brake!

Amazing!:D

:O Recently discovered using controller for photos better than wheel; can now adjust photo and photo composition 👍

I'll stick to using the wireless controller (can be turned on and off as needed) 👍

And many probably does not have an idea that you can actually drive GT with PS3 official remote. Not so good for driving, although can be fun for fun sake, but it is very handy for managing B-Spec.

I didn't know, so it helped me. Thank you. There are still many little things that annoy me and could save me a lot of time if they were fixed, like being able to save all kinds of settings.
Anyone else tired of having to select 16:9 everytime you save a picture, turn TCS off everytime you change cars ?

How do you do that? I use mine for B Spec but it wouldn't let me drive with it when I tried for a laugh.
