Tires and Speed

This question is more due to curiosity...

Well i've been trying to see how fast i can get my Option Stream Z. Obviously with like 800BHP i've been using racing softs. However, a question came upon me the other day.

Can we agree that stickier tires (like lowering pressure to increase their contact patch) will increase rolling resistance?

Well i was wondering if there would be any notable difference in speed if i used confort tires for the front wheels (or Racing hards or any tire of lesser grip)
 
Not trying to be rude, but why don't you go try and then post a thread like this? You have all the tools you need to figure it out, and it would be sorta interesting. So why not figure it out and post the results?

I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. What if someone already has done the research? What if he doesn't want to do the research and will forget about if there's no answer.
