Tires on TVR Challenge

I tried racing the TVR race this weekend. My Tuscan 6 which always sticks to the race course was slipping all over the place.

I think I have stage three lightening and Medium Soft tires. The car usually clings to the road. In the Race (Trial Mtn II) my rear was sliding out uncontrollably and my rear tires went red wnile the fron were yellow.

Any suggestions for tires or suspension, LSD, brake adjustments to fix this?
 
I just used the super slick tires and never had to pit. After fully upgrading the car it handled fine for me so i blew away the competition:D
