Tires stayed red after stopping the car

I was running the x2010 at Tokyo R246 and my tires indicator turned to red about half way through the race and this indicator stayed red. I stopped for 1 minute and they continued to stay red. Finished the race with the tires glowing red all the way to finish. Has this happened to anyone else where the tires would not cool down?

All 4 tires, not just 1 tire glowed red. No trophy received but should have.

That is normal.

The temperature of your tires reached maximum, and thenby stopping the car you made them staying on the same portion of the road. So they don't get warm again by rolling on the warm road.

Do a donut, until each tire get red, then immediately stop the car.

That's it.

But continuing on to finish the race should have cooled the tires back down.
